Oh, ladies, say it ain’t so!

The Pussycat Dolls, the girl group behind the earworm Don’t Cha, will postpone their May 9 concert due to the COVID-19 pandemic, their concert producer Wilbros Live announced today on its Facebook page.

“To ensure the public’s health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Pussycat Dolls concert in Manila on May 9 at the Mall of Asia Arena will be postponed and a new date will be announced soon,” Wilbros said in its statement.

“Your concert tickets will still be valid on the new date so please hold on to it. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” it added.

The five-woman group led by singer Nicole Scherzinger was supposed to perform in the Philippines after nearly a decade of absence. The band was first formed as a burlesque group in 1995 by choreographer Robin Antin before it evolved into a pop ensemble. They released their debut album PCD in 2005 but broke up after the release of their second album, Doll Domination, in 2010 due to internal conflict. They returned to the spotlight after releasing a new single in February, titled React.

Since the ladies won’t be around anytime soon, we leave you with the music video of (what else?) Don’t Cha, featuring Busta Rhymes.
