It took a while before the superkaduper anticipated McDonald’s x BTS chicken meal hit Philippine shores, but apparently it’s only because the local fast food outlets have been preparing really really hard for the launch.
Last week, we were already wowed by McDo crew from all over the country as they simultaneously unveiled their BTS dance videos—which they somehow kept secret from the rest of us.
And on the eve of the big launch, stores, buildings, malls, and other landmarks everywhere in the Philippines had another surprise: they lit up in BTS purple like the beacons of Gondor, except this time to summon the BTS ARMY instead of the Rohirrim.
