International superstar Mariah Carey got an authentic Manila welcome on her way to her concert at the Araneta Coliseum on Friday night: Manila’s famous weekend traffic jam.
The diva took to social media to update her fans about her experience.
“Stuck in traffic in Manila!” Carey posted on her Instagram Stories.
Carey was in Manila as part of her “The #1’s” tour.
She made it in time and wowed her Filipino fans by singing her hits, giving her fans what they deserve: A great show!
With 28 years in the music industry, the singing sensation has a total of 18 US Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers — the last one being “Touch My Body” in 2008 — good for a record second place behind only The Beatles, which has 20 in the chart’s near 60-year history.
