Practice your Spanish while enjoying a lineup of foreign films

Venue: Greenbelt 3 Cinemas

Film buffs will be glad to know that Pelikula, the biggest Spanish film festival in Asia is back. It starts this Thursday and will run until Oct. 15, Sunday. The lineup of films is available on the Instituto Cervantes de Manila Facebook page so go check out what films you want to see.

We’re excited for the premiere of Ta acorda ba Tu el Filipinas? (Do You Remeber the Philippines?), a documentary about the Philippines, Spanish influence in the country, and globalization.

 Dance to yet another K-pop group’s music

A lot of K-pop stars have visited Manila in the last few months but it looks like there are more to come. This weekend, catch hip-hop boy group Seventeen perform at the Mall of Asia Arena. You can get your tickets from SM Tickets.

No, you’re not back in the mid-2000s, Mayday Parade really is coming to Manila. Watch their concert at the Kia Theatre in Cubao and relive your days as an emo-rock loving teenager.
