Fans are now all excited after Stray Kids, a Korean boy group, announced yesterday that they’ll be performing in Manila on April 27 at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
Concert producer PULP Live World said that ticket prices will be announced soon.
The group is composed of nine members: Bang Chan, Woojin, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. It was formed in 2017 by JYP Entertainment, one of the largest South Korean showbiz companies, via a reality show of the same title. A few of their hits include Hellevator, Beware, Get Cool, and Glow.
They won Rookie of the Year at the 2019 Seoul Music Awards.
Here’s the music video of their song Get Cool.
Filipino fans online were stoked with the band’s announcement.
Hannah wrote in Filipino: “I hope the ticket prices are budget-friendly because most Stays (fans) are still students.”
Rocille Estomagulang said that she’s selling her kidney; probably joking that she’ll use the money to buy concert tickets.
Writing on PULP’s Facebook account, Ana Bayrante wrote: “And if GOT7 will visit Manila this year too, we will use up all of our savings.”
GOT7 is another boyband managed by JYP.
