Local promoter Pulp Live World yesterday announced that Lee Jong-suk, the star of the drama-fantasy TV show While You Were Sleeping, will be in Manila to meet his fans in November 18.
Lee’s fan meet will be at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Fans can buy tickets starting Sept. 16 via Ticketnet.
Just now, Lee’s fans are stoked. Wrote @mrnllaf on Pulp’s Instagram account in Filipino: “My God, my wallet has nothing inside [crying emojis].”
Fan @ssamy_belss seems to be conflicted about Lee’s visit. She wrote: “I didn’t tell you to come here!!! Huhu. I’m still going to iKON’s concert waaahhhh. Where (sic) mah money yah [crying emojis].”
Meanwhile, @haleynicole1118 thanked Pulp. She wrote: “My birthday is on November 18 and Lee Jong Suk is my ultimate bias.”
“Bias” is a word used by fans to say they love an actor or a K-pop group member.
Meanwhile over on Pulp’s Twitter account, fan @PsychopathJada wrote: “I hope this won’t be like what happened at Penshoppe’s [event].”
She’s referring to the Penshoppe organized fan meet where fans allegedly harassed Korean star Nam Joo-hyuk on stage during the photo-op.
Sana di maulit yung sa penshoppe :/
