K-pop fans have a new reason to celebrate after boy band Stray Kids announced yesterday that they’re coming back to Manila for a concert in April.

The eight-man group will perform at Pasay City’s SM Mall of Asia Arena on April 25 as part of its “District 9 Unlock” World Tour, according to the band’s Twitter account.

That’s a year after the boys last performed in Manila, in April 2019.

The band will be performing in other Coconuts cities as well, like Singapore (April 18), Bangkok (Aug. 9), and Jakarta (Aug. 15).

The group is composed of Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. It was formed in 2017 by JYP Entertainment, one of the largest South Korean showbiz companies, via a reality show of the same title. Initially, they were a nine-member group, but member Woojin left in October last year.

A few of their hits include HellevatorBewareGet Cool, and Glow and as a testament to their popularity, they won Rookie of the Year at the 2019 Seoul Music Awards.
