There are still so many girls — and women! — who can’t get over Netflix’s romantic comedy To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, a film based on the novel by Jenny Han of the same title.
It’s hard to blame them — the chemistry between the charming Lara Jean Covey (Lana Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) makes the movie unforgettable. Fans of the film also gush over how, well, gorgeous Centineo is, and that Lara Jean’s style in every scene is *to-die-for*.
As it turns out, one Filipino influencer inspired Lara Jean’s style. In a post that appeared on her Twitter account on Sunday, Han shared several mood boards used as style inspos for Lara Jean wherein she included a photo of Filipino social media star Tricia Gosingtian-Gabunada.
Han wrote in her post: “Early on I made the producers and director mood boards of Lara Jean’s style. I wanted them to understand that even though To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is a contemporary realistic story and not Harry Potter or Hunger Games, her style is crucial to understanding the character.”

It was followed by a tweet where Gabunada’s photo was attached.
Han wrote: “In my notes, I wrote, ‘It might not be what a teenaged guy would find sexy, but it’s what she feels pretty in, and for an introverted girl, it’s a way for her to express herself. Just like her bedroom.'”
