Hollywood actress Drew Barrymore will be back here in Manila next week.
According to a report in ABS-CBN News, Barrymore will be with actor Timothy Olyphant to promote their Netflix original series Santa Clarita Diet.
They will attend the premiere night at the SM Megamall on Monday and the red carpet event prior to it.
This won’t be Barrymore’s first visit to the country. In 2016, she made an appearance in SM Makati to promote her make-up line Flower Beauty.
In the horror-comedy Netflix series, Barrymore, who plays Sheila and Olyphant, who plays Joel, are husband and wife realtors leading “vaguely discontented lives in the LA suburb of Santa Clarita with their teenage daughter Abby.” Sheila undergoes a medical transformation that turns her into a zombie that craves for human flesh, something the entire family has to deal with.
Barrymore made her film debut as a child actress and had her breakout role in the 1982 Stephen Spielberg film E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial.
