Congrats to Teen King Daniel Padilla, who just got awarded a Double Platinum Award for his album I Heart You yesterday, during the April 19, 2015 episode of ASAP, making him the first artist to receive such an award this year.
His third album actually reached platinum status last month but he only got awarded this month, after his birthday production number on the Sunday noontime show.
The album’s carrier single was its title track “I Heart You,” and it also has a rendition of the Eraserheads song “With a Smile” and the Stephen Bishop original “It Might Be You.”
