‘Call Me Maybe’ singer Carly Rae Jepsen to perform in Manila this fall

Concert producer Wilbros Live announced on its Facebook page today that pop star Carly Rae Jepsen, the artist responsible for the greatest earworm of 2012, Call Me Maybe, will be performing live in Manila later this year.

 

The show, the Manila leg of Jepsen’s The Dedicated Tour, will be on Oct. 23 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City. Ticket prices will be sold starting on Aug. 31 and will be available on Ticketnet’s website. Alternatively, ticket buyers can call (02) 911 5555 to purchase tickets.




Other than “Call Me Maybe,” Jepsen is known for her other hit singles such as “I Really Like You (the music video of which stars Tom Hanks), “Cut to the Feeling,” “Party for One,” “Run Away With Me,” and “Emotion.”

Jepsen started her career by competing in Canadian Idol, where she finished third. Since then, she has won a Billboard Music Award, Canada’s Juno Awards, and has been nominated for the Grammy Awards, the Emmy Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards.
