Precious Hearts Romance (PHR) is like UK’s Mills and Boon — they’re formulaic romance novels that make readers believe in happily ever after. They’re not exactly made with the highest literary standards, but they are unbelievably popular around the Philippines.
Imagine Cole Sprouse’s surprise (anger?) upon seeing his face on the cover of a PHR book — expertly Photoshopped, of course.
The American actor best known for appearing on the Disney show The Suite Life with Zach and Cody called out Filipino publisher Precious Hearts for using his face as the love interest in the romance called “A Heart Remedy From Mr. Heartbreaker.”
Cole was shown with a girl who probably has no idea she’s on the cover of the book, too. Cole said that copies may be found in “trashcans near you.”

We’ll have to take Cole’s word that it’s really him on the cover and not his twin brother, Dylan Sprouse.
Cole’s followers found it funny. Someone pointed out that Ariana Grande is also on the cover of a PHR book .

Upon inspection of the PHR Facebook page, we found out that the Filipino hearthrob Carrotman and several Korean actors have made it to book covers as well.
We guess Cole is in good company?
