The line starts here: PHP99 milk tea Tuesdays at Serenitea kicks off today

Ah, the smell of F&B deals in the morning, is there anything more satisfying? Many, many things, of course. But for the time being, steep in this good news: Filipino tea shop Serenitea is offering a selection of milk tea flavors for only PHP99 (US$2) every Tuesday from today until Nov. 26.

The 10-year-old Taiwanese bubble tea-inspired shop is offering its Traditional Milk Tea, Royal Milk Tea, Hokkaido Milk Tea, Choco Royal Milk Tea, and Winter Frost flavors as part of the promo.

The Tuesday tea deals are available for large-sized cold drinks only, and there’s another catch: you have to pay for your drinks in cash. Still, you can get them from a long list of participating branches across Manila and Luzon (you can check if there’s a store near you by clicking on the post below).

Serenitea is one of the pioneering bubble tea shops in Manila, opening its first branch in Little Baguio, San Juan City a decade ago — way before the tea shop craze swept the country about five years ago. Their brown sugar milk teas and Yakult (a fermented probiotic milk) drinks have since proven to be a hit among local beverage aficionados.
