Limited edition butterball-flavored soft serve to hit dessert café Lost Bread this October

There’s an old Filipino adage (that we just made up) that says nostalgia is often the best seasoning.

That certainly explains the viral popularity of the soft-serve ice cream flavored with Haw Haw Milk Candy released by The Lost Bread in Quezon City earlier this year. And it may also prove to be the case for the dessert shop’s latest blast from the past: a soft-serve take on another childhood favorite, the butterball candy — a limited run of which will be available in stores this Oct. 15, until supplies last.

Nostalgia hounds can dig into the new butterscotch-y soft-serve in both cone and cup variations for PHP95 (US$2). The Lost Bread’s Butterball Soft-Serve can be sprinkled with your choice of toppers, like chocolate-caramel popcorn, granola, and milk and cookies, among others.

The Lost Bread is a dessert concept cafe that specializes in soft-serve ice creams, milkshakes, and French toast cubes. The brand started as a food park stall in Quezon City in 2015, opened its flagship store in SM Megamall in 2017, and now has around 15 branches across the metro area.
