1. Enjoy the streets of Intramuros with Carlos Celdran

April 16-17, 3pm onwards. We all have to thank Carlos Celdran for his efforts to bring life and color back to downtown Manila. The biggest pasyal of this weekend will happen at Gen. Luna Street in Intramuros. There will be buskers, street artists, food vendors and handpicked entrepreneurs. It’s car-free and pet-friendly, just as how we want streets to be. 2. Study the art of photo-styling 

Apr 16, 1-5pm. In this day and age, we should never underestimate the value of visual appeal. With the help of the interwebz, a good picture can take you places. This workshop is perfect for bloggers and those who want to be Instagram-famous. Designer Ron Lee from Mayad Studios is sharing his photography secrets in this photo-styling workshop. 3. Attend a zine convetion

Apr 16, 10am onwards. Here’s a good reason for you to fly to Cebu this weekend! A zine convention is happening, and it’s sounds like creative juices will overflow. Over 50 zine makers from the country and around the world will be at the event! In case you don’t know, zines are smaller magazines made with lots of love. They’re like the print world’s version of short indie films. 4. Enjoy a night of fight at the MOA Arena 

Apr 15, 7pm. Start your weekend with an action-packed evening of MMA matches as ONE: Global Rivals returns to Manila to showcase some of the best MMA athletes in the world. ONE Welterweight World Champion Ben “Funky” Askren of the US will return to the ONE Cage to defend his title. Pinoy fighters will be there too. 5. Ride a hot air balloon 

Apr 16 & 17, Gates will open at 4am. It’s a bit of a treck, but it’s gonna be worth it. The Lubao balloon festival is one big party, and they’ll have the biggest, brightest balloons. Eli Buendia and the Sabado Boys will be there. Plus there will be food vendors, a fireworks display and an aerial show. The best part? Balloon rides will be available for those who want to fly! 6. Have a tapa and wine dinner pairing 

Apr 16, 6pm. Having tapa and wine together guarantees a fun night. Enjoy 12 waves of modern tapa served with Old World Wine (six different kinds from Italy, Spain and France!).
