Gallery: Thousands protest pork barrel politics at Luneta

Filipinos great and small flocked to Luneta today to protest the government’s widely corrupt pork barrel system.

The “Million Person March” started at Quirino Grandstand before moving to Rizal Park where chants of “oink, oink, oink” could be heard throughout the crowd. Police Chief Supt. Marcelo Garbo Jr. estimated the gathering at 80-100,000 people.

Coconuts photographer Geloy Concepcion was on hand to capture these black and white shots demonstrating the energy of the historic protest.
