We’re not crying, our eyes are just sweating!
This week, Jollibee gave us a rollercoaster ride of emotions with their ‘Kwentong Valentine’s‘ (Valentine’s Stories) ads.
They broke our hearts with their unexpected plot twist in “Vow“, then they made us believe in true love with “Crush“, and on Fri, Feb 10, Filipinos cried buckets of tears after Jollibee — the country’s favorite bee — had us crying buckets of tears (not Chickenjoy) with their third Valentine’s ad called “Date“.
Just watch it for yourself and we dare you to not shed a single tear.
Since posting on their official Facebook account earlier this week, “Crush” has been viewed over 11.5 million times, “Vow” with more than 9.2 millions, and “Date” has been viewed 6.6 million times in the past 18 hours.
Most netizens’ biggest take-away from the video, though, seems to be that we can get an all-thigh-part bucket of Chickenjoy.
Suffice it to say, everyone was left asking, “What happened, Jollibee? We thought your motto is ‘bida ang saya‘?” Yet here we are — crying in public places or in our homes or offices or wherever we were when we clicked ‘play’ on your ad.
