Three men wanted in connection with the robbery of a Petaling Jaya 7-11 have been apprehended by police. The heist took place 13 July in Taman Medan, around 2am, and the video had made its rounds on social media prior to the arrests.
Two of the men are 20-years-old, and the other is 21.
The video showed the suspects all wearing helmets and entering the store. One wielded a machete, and threatened a staff member while the other two ransacked the counter. Their attempts to open the register proved unsuccessful, but they managed to steal enough cigarettes to certify emphysema in their respective futures.
