A painful accident for a man in Malaysia’s northeastern coast of Kelantan yesterday, after materials from his bicycle became lodged on his groin.
The afternoon incident resulted in the nearby Kuala Krai Fire and Rescue Department being deployed to the 34-year-old man’s home, where they found a bicycle gear stuck to his genitals, and the man unable to remove it.
While officials say they are not exactly sure how the gear came to be wrapped around his privates, it’s safe to say that this editor can imagine at least one way the situation came to be.
He was taken to a nearby hospital, where the good doctors of Kuala Krai were able to remove the iron after 20 minutes using an L-ring cutter to saw off the steel appendage.
They metal was removed safely using a cutting tool, and the man is said to have sustained no further injuries in the incident.
Following the removal of the gear, he was allowed to return home.
