Police are currently on the hunt for the mother and stepfather of a three-year-old boy who died yesterday while receiving treatment at Ampang Hospital. Having arrived in the morning, doctors report that the boy’s body had sustained severe injuries.
Unconscious when he arrived with his mother and stepfather, he had a fractured skull and was covered in bruises from his face, to chest, stomach and back. Emergency room doctors worked for 30 minutes on the boy’s body before pronouncing him dead at noon.
A police report was filed on the matter; however, when hospital staff sought out the boy’s family, they both had fled. Authorities are in the midst of searching for both individuals.
