Sungai Buloh-area woman caught on camera shouting, spitting at officers over towed car

Trending across social media this Friday was a video shot from what appears to be a window in Sungai Buloh showing Kuala Lumpur city hall (DBKL) officers trying to tow a vehicle that is illegally parked, while the presumed owner of the car screams, spits, and hurls abuse at the men.

The woman flings herself at the men, at times striking them with her hands, as passers-by slow down to watch.

Eventually, the men agree to lower the vehicle, and leave the hysterical woman to get back in her car.

Twitter user @duurianne was the first to upload the clip, which has been viewed nearly 250,000 times, with 8,500 retweets.

Netizens were left wondering whether these were the measures one had to take to avoid a hefty RM300 fine, while others expressed concern for a woman who seemed to be having a mental breakdown. Local comedian Harith Iskander shared the story on his Instagram account, writing that “mental health is real,” and ain’t that the truth, y’all.
