Road closure along Cheras-Kajang Highway tomorrow

A section of the Cheras-Kajang Highway will be closed to traffic tomorrow, to allow the installation of a pedestrian bridge.

The affected stretches are KM13.2 –KM 14.2 (Kajang-bound) and KM15.4-14.2(KL-bound) which will not be accessible from 11pm on June 3 to 5am on June 4, the New Straits Times said.

The pedestrian bridge is meant for the Sri Raya MRT Station.

Quoting a statement from MMC Gamuda, the daily said motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading to Kajang will be diverted out to the Exit 703 (Telekom Interchange) slip road before proceeding to re-enter the Cheras–Kajang Highway by going across Jalan Hulu Langat.

Traffic from Taman Kota Cheras heading to Kajang and Kuala Lumpur will not be diverted, and motorists from Kuala Lumpur heading to Taman Kota Cheras will not be diverted either, the NST said.
