Public appeal: Police asking for deceased man’s family to come forward and collect body

Police have made a public appeal, after the body of a recently deceased gentleman has had no family members or claimants come forward to take the remains over the last three months.

Ben Chay Kam Man, 69, died of a heart attack in his home in Kelana Jaya in late January of this year.

At the time, authorities took the body to Universiti Malaya Medical Center, and it has been there ever since.

Kelana Jaya officers are now asking for anyone with any information regarding Chay, the man in the photo to come forward, so that he may finally be laid to rest.

Please call Kelana Jaya police station chief Assistant Superintendent S. Razali at 016-2927196 or investigating officer Sargent Azmi Abd Rashid at 019-8350071, if you can help.
