CCTV footage of the incident has since been leaked onto social media, showing 27-seconds of a man scurrying outside the women’s bathroom while holding what appears to be a phone. The post alleges that the incident occurred on June 11, and 11:15pm, near the Chinese graveyard in the Kuala Lumpur suburb. The suspect reportedly drove a Viva, and is described as Malay.
The victim, a 34-year-old lawyer, has since lodged a police report on the matter, describing that she was using the facilities when she noticed a shadow on the other side of the cubicle door. Moments later, she alleges that a phone appeared underneath the door, in an attempt to record her.
