Police were called in over the weekend to deal with 68 individuals, some under-aged students, who were present at private parties in three separate condominiums over the weekend.

Fifty men, and 18 women were arrested, with over half of them testing positive for methamphetamine, marijuana, and ketamine [Ed. Note: One helluva ride, kids].

Always on the up-and-up of what’s hot, police report that the youth these days are trying to avoid authorities by passing up public night clubs in favor of private residence parties, often times held in rented condominiums.

Among those arrested were university students, and several boys under 18.

The Sun reports that the residences raided included a unit on Jalan Cendana, where 14 individuals were taken in, another one on Jalan Abdullah Hukum, where 41 youth were partying, and two hours later another gathering of 13 people in a unit on Jalan Sultan Ismail was broken up, where police found weed and Ecstasy. All will be held in remand for five days while police investigate.

Authorities have added that they are looking to clamp down on “drug abuse and immoral activities,” and are prepared to take stern action against apartment owners and party organizers. They will “continue to conduct these raids to ensure the drug abuse menace in the city is addressed.”

They’re also leaving a number to call if you fancy tipping them off (snitching?) — 03-21460708 / 03-21460584 – over suspected illicit activities happening. Be kind to your neighbors, folks *ahem*.
