A piece of Malaysia with Kim Kardashian? Jho Low reportedly gifted the celeb a white Ferrari

Extravagant gift-giver, alleged yacht-squatter, and fugitive financier currently wanted by Malaysian authorities for his role in — allegedly — siphoning billions of dollars from the state sovereign wealth fund 1MDB, Jho Low has recently been linked to reality television celeb Kim Kardashian.

We know: It was only a matter a time before Newton’s law of universal gravity caught up to these two and brought them together with a force inversely proportional to Kris Jenner’s 10 percent commission on everything.

Turns out that in 2011, the man who famously gifted his “girlfriend” Miranda Kerr million-dollar jewelry she later had to return to US investigators was on the guest-list for Kim’s wedding to basketball player Kris Humphries (remember that?!), and The New York Post is alleging he may have gifted the couple a US$325,000 white Ferrari.

However, like most of Low’s gifts, authorities suspect it was bought using money taken from 1MDB, and it may have to be returned. Just like Miranda and her sparklers, and Leo and the Picasso and Basquiat.

Kim’s has had a good run with the car, using it “extensively,” according to the paper. Although the gift was intended to be for the couple, whose marriage only lasted 72 days, Kim came out of the union as the sole owner of the car.

As recently as last month in Miami, she was seen arriving at dinner in a similar vehicle, though reports cannot confirm it was the same one.

Kim can add herself to a list of random celebs on the receiving end of Low’s generosity, allegedly on the dime (billions of them!) of the Malaysian people: Mr Alicia Keys, aka Swizz Beatz; Pras Michel (the other guy in The Fugees); and former Pussycat Doll, Nicole Scherzinger, are all reported to have been given a prezzie or two (or three) from Mr Low.

Department of Justice authorities have yet to confirm whether they will try to recover the Ferrari, or other goodies given by the ingratiating financier.
