Your after-party spots aren’t safe anymore

A wild house party was cut short yesterday afternoon after it was raided by police. The party was held off of Jalan Sultan Ismail, and resulted in the detention of thirty-three for drug-related offenses. Police report that two female high school students, aged 14 and 15, were among the group.

Around 6pm, police were tipped off by what one can only imagine was a kepoh (nosy) neighbor, or someone clearly not invited.

Forty-seven party-goers were tested for drugs. Yes world, Malaysian police will have you pee in a cup, right then and there in front of them.  Of those tested, thirty-three were positive, and were taken into remand.

Also nabbed was the party organizer, a 22-year old male, who is said to be cooperating with police.

According to Dang Wangi police chief Assistant Superintendent Mohd Sukri Kaman, cops managed to pick up 2 pills of methamphetamine at the party. However, he suspects more narcotics were present, and hastily discarded. “They took some time before opening the door,” he said. “They probably spotted the raiding team through the peephole and flushed the drugs down the toilet.”

Guys, rule #1 of a raid: block the peep hole with your thumb when you knock on the door. Haven’t you watched Law & Order?
