The number of men getting their penises stuck in what is colloquially referred to as a cock ring is ahem … on the rise in Kedah. There have been 10 reported cases this year, compared with only three last year.

Kedah Fire and Rescue Department director Abdul Razak Muda has blamed “peer influence” for the number of members getting stuck in the ‘ol rounded dick shackle.

The Sinar Harian reports that most of the cases are men between 20 and 30, and claim to have tried it “for the first time” out of curiosity, only to find that they can’t take it off.

We here at Coconuts care deeply about the health and safety of all of our readers’ privates, and would like to provide you with some tips on making sure that ring ‘ting comes off.

Number one, use one made of a stretchy material like silicone. You will find it easier to clean, and it’s also hypoallergenic. Choose one that is of appropriate size for your body. Wink.

Two, use lube, preferably water-based. It will make the ring easier to remove when you’re done. Apply to the inside before you slip it on.

Three, don’t wear it for too long. The recommended time is usually under 30 minutes, any more and you risk hurting yourself. Permanently.

And finally, appropriately to finish off the list, remove immediately after ejaculation. Yeah yeah, you may want to see what happens if you keep it on longer, but don’t. This is how people end up in the ER with a blanket on their laps.

Or as Kedah Fire and Rescue reports, of individuals rolling up directly to the fire stations for help. Try to live that one down.
