Mercedes driver who ran fellow motorist off the road over the weekend arrested

The widely shared clip of the accident, and the Mercedes driver is spotted by that third party’s dashboard camera traveling along a Seremban road at about the same speed as a white Perodua Alza. As the two cars travel along, the Mercedes driver is seen trying to merge into the same lane as the Alza, hitting the car, and forcing it to quite literally run off of the road and into trees. Without taking a moment to pause over the potentially dangerous accident, the Mercedes driver speeds off into the distance.

Early Monday, the driver of the Mercedes, a 25-year-old female, presented herself to police at a nearby station, under the premise of wanting to fill out a report. Officers have since arrested her.

Seremban police confirmed that the four passengers traveling in the Alza escaped without serious injury, although two of them sustained light injuries – a relief considering the potential consequences of an accident while traveling at a considerable speed. They added that the incident occurred about an hour outside of Kuala Lumpur, when both cars were traveling towards Kuala Pilah.

Both drivers have since filed police reports on the matter, and an investigation into reckless driving has commenced.
