One Facebook user is feeling traumatized after the bubble tea he ordered came with a side of protein he hadn’t asked for.
User Hasler Hoho writes that he was at the Bukit Jalil outlet of popular bubble tea outlet Tealive when he got the unwelcome surprise. Thinking he had ordered a large, classic roasted milk tea, he proceeded to glug glug sip sip away.
“Halfway through,” he says “I was feeling [something] weird in my mouth with my tongue… it felt like long jelly.” His brain reminded him that the pearls inside bubble tea were round. The shape in his mouth was not.
Spitting out the mystery texture, he was horrified to find that chilling inside his bubble tea was a fully-formed, baby lizard, without a tail (no extra charge)!
Hasler was understandably perturbed, and has since lodged a complaint with Tealive. His post has since been shared nearly 3,500 times.
We’ll keep you updated if he gets an answer from Tealive. Or finds that tail.
