A Malaysian was reportedly shot to death near a hotel in Hatyai, Thailand early today.
According to a report by The Star Online, the victim is a 28-year-old man identified as Mohd Nizam Ahmad Basrah, from Penang.
He was shot at 3.30am as he rode a motorcycle to a hotel.
Hatyai deputy police chief Col. Khittichai Sankha-thavorn was quoted as saying that Mohd Nizal was found lying in a pool of blood on Phadungpakdee Road, with wounds on his chest and hip.
“Police found two bullet casings near the scene. We are going through the closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras to help in the investigations,” he was quoted further.
