[VIDEO] Kuala Lumpur area man narrowly escapes home invasion by machete-wielding robbers

A Puchong-area home owner is counting his lucky stars after be barely managed to keep a swarm of parang (machete) carrying thieves from invading his home yesterday afternoon.

Filmed via three different CCTV cameras position inside, as well as outside the home, the incident is a reminder that you can never be too careful, and how fast thinking can save you a lot of grief.




Having arrived home, the victim’s large gates remained opened as he made his way to his front door. However, as soon as he turned his back, three motorbikes, with pairs of rider slash robbers on each, slipped in through the gates before they closed.




Police confirmed the Thursday incident, saying that at 5:41pm, seven men rushed into the man’s Serdang neighborhood of KL compound, with two of the men wielding machetes.




Unable to access the house via the front door, the men broke a window, and slashed the victim’s tires.

No injuries were reported, and the authorities are currently studying the footage in order to identify the robbers.
