Alleged hired killer in Taman OUG shooting caught at last

The police claim to have finally caught the hired gun who shot dead 32-year-old real estate agent Renyce Wong Siu Ling at Taman OUG three weeks ago.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar told The New Straits Times that a 29-year-old factory worker — who was nabbed in Tampoi, Johor on Saturday — has reportedly been identified as the shooter in the murder case.

Khalid said the suspect is being remanded until Thursday to facilitate investigations.

The police are still reportedly on the hunt for another suspect, whom police believe was involved in the planning of the shooting.

Last Tuesday, the police arrested eight suspects in connection with the case.

The mastermind of the shooting was a businessman who reportedly owed the suspect RM13 million.

The businessman allegedly paid the gunmen RM60,000 to carry out the hit.
