Health Ministry wants to ban vaping

The end may be near, vapers; the government has decided that it will ban vaping as soon as the ‘legalities have been worked out’.

The Star Online quotes Health Minister Datuk Seri S Subramaniam as saying that all necessary arrangements will be made to ban the popular trend.

The ministry had, back in August, suggested that shisha and electronic cigarettes be banned temporarily while they conduct studies on risks associated with these habits.

“We will chose the most appropriate act which will give us the power to do it,” he was quoted as saying at the Parliament lobby yesterday.
