It was just like a scene from a Hollywood action movie.
An accident involving a container truck, a van and a billboard caused a major traffic jam along the New North Klang Straits Bypass Expressway early Wednesday morning.
According to The Star Online, in the 6am incident, the driver of the container truck reportedly lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a metal pole supporting an overhead signboard at the KM15.4 mark of the highway.
As a result, the signboard reportedly gave way and came crashing down onto a van travelling in the opposite direction.
The container truck then reportedly caught fire after the crash.
Thankfully, the driver of the container truck managed to escape the burning vehicle with just minor burns on his body.
The passengers of the van, meanwhile, also reportedly sustained minor injuries.
All three victims were reportedly sent to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital for further treatment.
