Police have made arrests in connection with the hit-and-run accident in Cyberjaya widely reported on social media yesterday.
Four students have been arrested in the death of 31-year-old Wan Amirah Wan Alias, who was hit, and dragged through Shaftesbury Square as she was crossing the road Wednesday evening.

One Yemeni, two Libyans and a woman from Sabah, all students at an international university in Cyberjaya were taken in by police in a series of arrests, with the silver Hyundai that hit Wan Amirah also being seized.
Authorities report that one of the individuals has admitted to having been behind the wheel when the accident occurred.
Wan Amirah, an assistant manager with broadband service Unifi, succumbed to her injuries early Thursday morning. Video footage of the ordeal was captured via CCTV, and shared on Facebook, with many netizens demanding better road safety in the popular university and tech town.
