Four men, aged between 15 and 20 years old, are now in police custody after allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl in the northern province of Perlis.

Police say that the incident occurred in a house in the rural area of Taman Bersatu on September 2nd, and that the suspects were known to the young girl. Leaving her house in Felda Chuping, at 2:30am, she rode on a motorbike with three of the suspects. Another male, aged 15, was waiting for them at the house.

Initially unwilling to speak about what had happened, New Strait Times reports that a teacher noticed that her behavior had changed, and eventually the girl revealed what happened: Keeping her inside the house, each of the men took turns raping her, before taking her home later that morning.

All four of the unemployed men are now in police remand, and are under investigation for rape.
