To escape work stress, Indonesian maid climbs out of third floor window

Boy, this Indonesian maid must be super stressed out for her to even consider leaving her job – by climbing out the window!

Malay daily Kosmo! reports that the Indonesian domestic helper, who reportedly couldn’t cope with work stress, decided to escape by climbing out of the window of a third floor apartment in Selayang on Wednesday.

According to the report, which was translated by The Star Online, the 41-year-old woman started her descent at 8.10am by using a makeshift rope made out of cloths tied together.

However, she reportedly got stuck on the second floor because her ‘rope’ was not long enough.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (operations) Mohd Sani Harul told the daily that a concerned resident called the department after the woman was spotted standing on the window frame.

When firemen arrived at the scene, the woman was reportedly seen holding tight onto the makeshift rope as she was brought down safely using a ladder.

She was later handed over to the police for further action, according to Kosmo!.
