Ah, readers — ’tis us, refreshing our Twitter feed for the 30th time today only to discover that our favorite Canadian pretty-boy singer, and also apparent paparazzi-driven, arm accessory of Camilla Cabello,
Charlie Puth Austin Mahone Shawn Mendes was out and about in our fair city over the weekend.
Ada yang pergi konsert sampai kena scam ticket . Tengoklaa shawn bapak sombong . atau dia taknk tarik crowd . aku pon tak tahu but this kinda rudes

It has also come to our attention that, unfortunately — much like dozens of celebs before him, it appears Mendes spent some time at Suria KLCC mall when taking in the sights of Kuala Lumpur.
Well, to be more accurate — the escalators of the mall were the only place that Shawn was spotted by obtrusive fans, so we’re gonna assume that he didn’t get very far. We’ve heard rumors that he was also spotted at Breakfast Thieves, which leads us to believe Instagram tags may have been his tour guide.
Our point is, celebs of the world — Kuala Lumpur has a lot to offer you. Definitely more than a mall we wouldn’t even put in our top five if we were forced by Lucifer himself to rank these city-wide consumer frenzy abominations, and next time you’re here to play a show, slash get paid to make a celebrity appearance at a shop — step out of your comfort zone and go see other things.
Yes, we could tell you to go to Batu Caves, and you should because it’s cool and not very far from the city center, but how about a little trek through the city jungle at FRIM (Forest Research Institute of Malaysia)? Or a trip to the National Mosque if you’re on that kind of tourist tip? A walk through the gritty charms of Chinatown, and stop at our favorite bar (PS150) and restaurant (Chocha) would give you a better idea of what our modern urbanites get up to, and you will never, ever go wrong with getting banana leaf.
And if all else fails, and you’ve got to pick a t-shirt because you’re mid-tour and dirtied everything else, FYI — the better mall between the two city center rivals is Pavilion. Or keep it real, and go to Midvalley. There are so many people there, to quote Lil Wayne … you can be a “real G, [and] move in silence like lasagna.”
