Two weeks ago, police seized over 27kg of meth, and arrested the suspect in a raid on a sleepy Bukit Tengah factory they had suspected was involved in the drug trade.
Operations in the small medium industrial zone began in the early hours on September 12, at 3am, with Lee having been arrested at the time for possession.
Central police headquarters Bukit Aman have said that another “factory” in the same area pulled in their largest drugs haul since 1996, with RM72.5million (US$17.5 million) worth of narcotics being seized in the raid.
Authorities report a seizure of 2.13 million Erimin 5 pills, 742.6 kg of Erimin 5 powder, 27.3kg syabu, 5,080 ecstasy pills and 53.7kg of an unnamed liquid chemical.
Happy World Pharmacy Day, everybody!
