Ever stood at the ATM watching armed guards load hundreds of thousands of Ringgit into the machine, wondering … How difficult would it be to rob these guys, right now, right here?

Not difficult at all it seems. All you need is four mates, two motorbikes, and a gun to make some kind of noise, so as to scare the armed guard into giving you his shotgun.

So was the case yesterday at a Bukit Antarabangsa petrol station, where four thieves made off with the spoils of an ATM refill, a cool RM800,000 (US$190,000).

At approximately 5pm yesterday, four armed guards were approached by the suspects. One of them fired a warning shot into the air, and disarmed the one guard with a shotgun.

The Star then reports that they forced the guards to hand over the money, hitting one of them on the head with the shotgun. He was treated at Ampang Hospital.

The suspects fled the scene, discarding the shotgun, on two blue Yamaha 125Z motorbikes, wearing gloves and helmets with tinted visors.

Stealing is bad, not recommended, and this is highly illegal and punishable under section 394 of the Penal Code, but … live the dream, lads. Live the dream.
