The police have arrested another suspect believed to be involved in the shooting and killing of 32-year-old real estate agent Datin Renyce Wong Siu Ling in Taman OUG almost three weeks ago.
City police chief Comm Datuk Amar Singh told The Star Online that a 29-year-old factory worker was arrested in Tampoi, Johor on Saturday.
“The man works as a factory worker and has been remanded to help with investigations.
“We will apply to extend remand of the eight others arrested whose remand expires today,” Amar said in a statement cited by the news portal.
Last Tuesday, the police arrested eight suspects in connection with the case.
The mastermind of the shooting was a businessman who reportedly owed the suspect RM13 million.
The businessman allegedly paid the gunmen RM60,000 to carry out the hit.
