A video taken by a member of the public — shaming and apprehending a pervert filming up women’s skirts — has gone viral since it was posted Friday by one of the victims. Her post was then deleted, but not before the video was reposted by Facebook group We Are Malaysians, where it was viewed thousands of times.

According to China Press via The Sun her original post read:

“This terrible incident happened in, Level 2 at around 8:10pm when I encountered a pervert trying to take an up-skirt video of me. He was acting suspiciously but I didn’t notice it until my friend found that he was standing really close to me. He immediately reached out to grab the suspect and seized his phone as well. I took his phone and saw that he had taken up-skirt videos of me but I also discovered that I’m not the only victim, as there were so many other up-skirt photos and videos he had taken in his phone. Please be careful of this man.”

In the video, the man can be seen getting called out, having his phone taken, then attempting to cover his face once the camera was turned on him.

You can watch the video at the link. Considering the victim took the post down, we don’t feel comfortable re-posting it here.
