Now, Malaysian songbird Yuna gets her very own Snapchat filter

You know you’re a big deal when a social media app gives you your very own filter.

Popular Malaysian singer Yuna debuted the filter after a show in Atlanta by posting a ‘thank you’ note to her fans on her Snapchat account on Saturday.

Yuna wrote “Yuna filter YAS!!!!’ in one of the Snaps, which featured the filter with a ‘Chapters US Tour’ header text and her name at the bottom, as well as the swirly-style art of her ‘Chapters’ album cover adorning the edges of the picture.

The 29-year-old songbird also shared a picture she took with artist Bosco, whom she had previously worked with on several shows.

Not only that, she also gave a shout out to R&B superstar Usher, whom she collaborated with on the super infectious song “Crush”.

However, some Snapchat filters are location-locked, which means that Yuna fans in Malaysia might not be able to use the filter.

The Snapchat filter is just another achievement Yuna has unlocked this year.

Earlier this year, her album ‘Chapters’ broke into the top 10 R&B albums and top 20 R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts shortly after its release in April.

‘Chapters’ was then named as one of the best R&B albums of 2016 by Rolling Stone magazine.

A couple of weeks later, she was chosen to perform the 2016 Olympics theme song.

Then, she became the first Malaysian to record a singing voice prompt for traffic and navigation app Waze.

And recently, her single “All I Do” was featured on the ever-popular TV series ‘Grey’s Anatomy’.

The songstress is currently on a 15-date tour in the United States, playing in several major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Boston and Boston.
