Police are investigating Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor again, this time for allegedly not wearing a mask under her face veil.
Photos of Neelofa outside the Seremban Magistrate’s court yesterday visibly showed the celebrity’s facial features beneath her face veil. Seremban police representative Mohd Said Ibrahim said the authorities received a police report yesterday about Neelofa violating COVID-19 measures.
“We received a police report regarding Neelofa’s offense of not wearing a face mask in public, as required by the Ministry of Health,” he said, adding: “This includes those who wear the full or half face-veil.” The rule has been effective since Aug 2020.
Neelofa, 32, and her husband Harris Ismail yesterday claimed trial over COVID-19 offenses linked to a recent shopping trip. She started wearing the face veil in October last year.
