We get that some teenagers are extremely emotionally connected to their motor vehicles, but the young man in this video was apparently so distraught by the idea of his motorcycle being taken away that he gave up all pretenses of dignity in a shameless display of crying and begging before a police officer the likes of which we have rarely seen before.

The clip, which has been shared thousands of times though Instagram and Facebook, took place in the Bondowoso region, East Java. Based on the story in the original caption and what the police officer says in the video, the teenager was caught riding a motorcycle without proper mirrors, tires or even a license plate. He also reportedly did not have the vehicle’s registration papers either.

Because of that, the officer said he had to ticket the teen and impound his motorcycle. As can be seen in the video, that is what caused the young man to start crying hysterically, begging the officer not to impound his sweet Suzuki.

Explaining to the boy what he needs to do to get his bike back, the officer says, “Tomorrow bring the (registration) letter, install the mirrors and the license plates and replace the tires, okay?”

The police officer then tries to give the teen a thumbs up, but based on the boy’s reaction, he was definitely not okay with it.

No word yet on whether the teen ever got his bike back, but if we were him, we’d probably rather just stay at home at home for a while rather than being seen in public anytime soon…
