The Transjakarta bus that caught on fire on Jalan Gatot Subroto on March 8, 2015.
Yep, it happened again. Another Transjakarta bus caught on fire this morning near the Pasar Senen bus stop in Central Jakarta.
According to Tribun, at 8 am, something in the bus caught on fire and black smoke was seen coming out of the bus. Panicked passengers got out of the bus and some even smashed a window to scamper out.
Fortunately, no one was reported hurt from the incident.
You may recall that this isn’t the first time that a Transjakarta bus caught on fire. On March 8, 2015, a bus caught on fire in Jalan Gatot Subroto, which led the provincial government to recall Chinese-manufactured buses for some time as a safety precaution.
There were also two other Transjakarta buses that randomly caught on fire in 2014.
