Motorcycle robber takes National Exam in police station, dreams of university education

IS, a teenager who robbed a motorcycle in Depok in February, wore his high school uniform as he took part in the National Exam today. However, unlike his peers, he took his exam in the Sukmajaya police station instead of at school.

IS is currently under police custody as his case is still being investigated. He’s hopeful he can pass the National Exam and go on to university in Yogyakarta.

“I want to be an artist. If there’s a chance, I want to go to school in ISI Yogyakarta,” IS told Vivanews today.

IS, along with his two partners in crime, DF and ADP, took the Bahasa Indonesia exam today under the supervision of their school and the Sukmajaya Police Department Chief, Commissioner Agus Widodo.

“The police would never prevent anyone from receiving an education,” Agus said.

We hope IS and his friends can pass the National Exam and turn their lives around by going to university.
