Following his recovery from COVID-19, Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan today returned to working from his office at City Hall.

Anies’ wife, Fery Farhati, took to Instagram earlier today to post the governor’s morning routine. The photos and videos in the slides include a photo of Anies’ uniform, a selfie of the couple, him talking to his mother, as well as a short clip of him getting in the car.

“The uniform is hanged again. The scent of perfume in the morning is smelled again. Hands are waved again. The daily scenery that was initially just an ordinary routine, has turned into a pleasure that we’re grateful for. Small things can turn into great pleasure when we lose them even for a while, a month to be precise,” the caption reads.

According to reports, Anies has recovered from COVID-19 since Tuesday last week after being infected with the coronavirus for a month, during which time he self-isolated and led the city from the official residence for the Jakarta Governor.

The Jakarta provincial government has officially extended “PSBB Transisi,” the transitional phase of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions protocol, starting today until Jan. 17.
