TS, a 37-year-old housewife, was arrested in her home on Jalan Cenderawasi in Beji, Depok, last night.
The police previously received reports from her neighbors that the mother of two was consuming marijuana.
“When we raided her house, we found two packages containing weed weighing 19.7 grams,” said Setiabudi Police Chief Tri Yulianto, as quoted by Okezone today.
The police are still investigating the case to catch the supplier of the drug.
TS could face at least 3 years in prison for drug abuse.
However, drug rehabilitation in place of a prison sentence is usually applicable in cases of light drug abuse like this one.
